"From the ancient tombs of the Pharaohs in the mysterious, unexcavated deserts of Egypt emerges Magar the Mystic...this man has supernatural powers which enable him to communicate with the dead, and re-create the great men and women in history, for a definite length of time!"  

The first glimpse of Magar the Mystic showed him orienting himself to the world of the 1940's, having been "dormant for half a century", which would place his last activity in Africa in the 1890's.  He was able to communicate with and recreate the dead and those he called forth included Solomon, Mata Hari, Houdine (possibly Houdini), Napoleon, Wellington and Edisan (Thomas Edison?).  He also could teleport, was invulnerable to bombs, and was able to move at incredible speeds.

We never learn about his earlier or later adventures, as this turned out to be Magar the Mystic's only appearance.
